Service Learning
went for service learning today. it was a real eye opener. my group (mira, yunzhi, nat and me) visited a family of 6 somewhere in the gimmoh estate behind our sch as part of a community involvement project. we were supposed to visit the less fortunate, and give them a hamper bought with the money we raised from washing cars to get them some things that we deem apt fo them.
the 1st thing that struck me was the size of the house. it was somewhat smaller than half a classroom, and the furniture was all recycled. they had trouble in finding meals and financial assistance. but after realising how close thier family was compared wif an everyday family, and how they braved through all the tough times, it made me realise that they are more fortunate then we think. i guess tat's why i prefer neighbourhood schs, cos every1 there is so friendly.
the head of the house, imrhan, was a real cool guy. he was a x-motorcross racer, but after an accident involving his arm, he stopped racing and joined one of singapore's soccer clubs. and he was real good. however, his carreer ended when he fell during a game and got paralysed. but that did not slow him down. he learnt two walk slowly, bit by bit, and after 2 years was fully recovered. he learnt to do many odd jobs, cos he had little education as his family was poor when he was young. he was later diagnosed with somekind of chronic arthrithis, and had to eat expensive steroids every day in order to keep moving. he learnt many new skills and moved to jobs which were not physically demanding.
all in all a very good experience. hope that they will find joy (and money).

badminton.
Aviva open was damn cool. every1 there was extremely pro. manage to get a ticket and watched all the matches except the male singles between thailand and korea. i guess the highlight was still hidayat and gade. they played for roughly 2 hours straight, wif every shot well placed and consistent strokes. i especially luved taufik's overhead smash. it gained him four points against gade. gade was good thou. except that during the 1st set he played the set too high and taufik, being the agressive player that he is, managed to kill most of the balls. gade changed the strategy in the second set. that got him to around 13 points. the score was 13-14 to taufik for around half an hour. can you believe that! i am so inspired.zhang nin also rox....she is damn graceful.
forgot to mention that i got a new badminton bag. managed to get susilo and haifz (world no.6, japan open winner) to sign it. oh yeah. tat beats jieshen's mp 88.

Initial D is so cool
Went out to watch intitial D! damn cool. today, went for a damn early 11.20 show, and feli and her friends were late. so we had to open the bokking and sit separately. So sad. Anyway, the movie was very good. 1st of all, i luv cars. Ben oi too. 2nd, the two bens enjoy racing games. 3rd, Jay chou rox. 4th, the movie was uber funny. finally, natsuki is damn chio. ok lar. maybe not that chio. but just chio lar.
played maximum tune and intial d 3rd stage after the show. din really like intial d, cos the response was slightly slow, and the mountian route had lotsa turns. i knew i shouldn't have chosen such a heavy skyline. damn. maximum tune was better, thou i picked the wrong car and screwed the account. shit. now i gotta spend too more bucks on a new card.

church camp
hey juz came back from church camp(15-17june). it was real fun.left one day earlier cos my parents were in the committee.
the activities started wif ice breaker. got to know my group Thomas: Serene(leader), Rachel Ng, Jeannette, Sebby, Sharon and Terence(the twins), Matthaeus, Amanda, Chelsea(pronounced chell-see--her), Gerald and Mike(my good pals) and of cos me. they were real fun guys, church camp wouldn't have been the same without them. most of them were jc 1, except Gerald, Mike, and me(Sec3), Matthaeus(Sec1), and Serene(quote Sharon:ahem..old. 20 lah).
The food was good, got quite a wide spread..
The message was a little bit chim, cos the speaker was a lecturer at BGST, so he damn smart lah. His name was Douglas Milne(pronounced m-ill). My group give him the nick of einstein cos he looked like one(really). The group discussions(within my group) really helped. Got to learn many new chim tems like justification, santification etc.. it's too much to blog. Thanks to Serene and gang for making the message feel less overwhelming.
Free time was spent roaming around the campus, wif Gerald being an a****** and pressing every1's doorbell. Played pool and table soccer. Special mention to soccer game with 3 malay ppl at the beach. 3 on 3 match, me , gerald and mike one team, malay guys other. got thrashed lah. shoes full of sand, and ball couldn't even move properly on sand. they, being pros at beach soccer, scored 15 goals(estimated), and we scored 5(mike 1, me 1, gerald 3). but it was really a good game. managed to save 10+ attempts at goal with legs only(was last man 1st 5 mins). but the malay guys were real good, and they managed to scored much more. i guess my team had to learn to cooperate more. they sub 5 times tho. does that count? anywae i'll never forget that game.
youth fellowship was real fun too. played a few games(who what huh, double wacko etc), sang praises, and had personal sharing. real eye opener. showed me how spiritually immature i am. ended around 1 am, then went outside hotel for ramli burgers. the whole gang went, so the cook spent 40 mins cooking 30+ burgers. for those hu dunno wat ramli burgers are, it's a patty wrapped in egg in a burger. real cheap and good. i rather eat that than mac.
other stuff: durian feast, shopping, jellyfish killing.playing wif phone, someone got stuck in the toilet, penalty kicking, toturing mike's lil bro, soccer in room, prank calling, soccer in the corridor, singing crap songs in the corridor. sure to have more, but lazy to blog.
hope church camp next year will be juz as good. a bit short tho. really benefitted from this camp. thanks to Serene and committee for making camp so enjoyable...

Went out wif mayflower and co. todae...
only 3 ppl turned up. many could not make it, some juz daoed. some were still sleeping by 11.30!so anyway, only the 3 guys from bishan park turned up. damn.last time we had four ppl, next time it'll be 2, then 1. now ain't that pretty. took a train to cinelesiure, ended up at the wrong stop. walked around, realised that we were lost, so we ttok a taxi and made it juz in time to see Anakin kill Count Dooku. Yes, we went to see star wars, and yes we are outdated.
the movie was good, the green guy was quite cute, and Anakin died a terrible almost death. so after movie played arcade....time crisis 1 and 2, house of the dead 2. watch some ppl playing daytona trying to drift, and some ppl playing daytona2 not trying to drift. irony rite.
played bball after tat. damn we totally sucked. the best shot had to be the sper super super tyco 3 pointer by me. not bragin thou. it was really a f***ing tyco shot. so our condo building a new mp court. dunno whether can use to play bbball...if can then good lor.
guess tat's all.

Back from the dead
hey guys...sorry for not blogging for so long..
so to sum up:
exams: failed 6 tests in a row. my cap was 2.73, which for your info is not very high, and is prob one of the lowest in class or sch. i guess i'm grounded for the hols, and i have to study harder then. stop slacking sia. and according to the teachers, focus more.
MG305 outing: mentor group had an outing cum farewell party for miss Pang. was the chef wif josh and theo, again. thankfully nat ordered pizzas, so every1 din have to wait for the food to be ready. we dunked almost every1, except i walked in myself. Royston was the 1st to kanna. LOSER. thrashed at tabletennis. oh yeah. played xbox, halo2 and nba all stars. nat had a real cool drum set. din try it thou.
House games: Fibo got 2nd yeah...damn i think it's my fault that we got 2nd. shld have gotten 1st. if i trained harder i could have beaten Andre (who for your info massacred every1 who played against him) and got 2 more points for the doubles game against Thejas and Leslie.
Badminton training: Training's been tiring. think i improved alot. Gotta trash mr Sun in order to get into the NUS badminton team training. Now training at Singpoly. not their club thou. they juz use their campus. Competition coming. 11 June i think. gonna get killed.
Sis's new boyfriend: Yeah sorry jm, the news is sort of true. charl has got a so called "new boyfrien" i will not indulge info, so u juz got to ask her urself. there.
Well, alot more things happened, which i feel ain't suitable for blogging, but juz for u to noe, they ain't good happy stuff.

Hey everyone!
Sorry for not blogging for so long. My com conked out on me. Turned out to be the fan problem. Anywaes, updates. Can’t remember a lot. Aside from failing all sorts of test recently, life’s been fine. Managed to pull through music 4 presentation, violin performance coming, and badminton competition next week. Sprained ankle, dunno whether can play next week. Basketball’s been fun, been dethroned as the air ball king, finally can shoot underbaskets, backboards, 3 points and frees. Friendship week this week, do smthn nice for ur friends….happy tree friendship week! Ah lame. Yah new skin... squall from ff8. damn cool rite, esp with the burning griever on his gunblade. His lionheart looks cool. oh ya saw mr khoo riding his bike. damn cool. also saw mr chaillian at thomson plaza wif her daughter...is her husband malay or indian or smthn?
Ok. Sad stuff, been quarrelling wif parents lately, in fact almost every dae…getting better tho. Every1’s so sad…lately. Life might suck, but it doesn’t mean u have too…so cheer up guys. Homework’s’ piling up. Most stuff’s overdue. Well gotta keep going. Happy 100 days nus high!

Class gathering
had a gathering at nats house todae, after they watched a series of unfortunate events. royston and nat kept telling how choi violet was. i'm sure. ok bought heck lots of crap for the barbeque, walked damn far in to nats house under the baking sun and with vines sticking out and poking ur face. ok enuf complaining. nats house is lyke a ten star hotel. damn nice and executive. played billard, and carom and darts. the fibo cheerleaders had practice there. they forced me to join. i escaped. phew. but, i got pushed into the swimming pool. my jeans got soaking wet. elaine was the 1st to tiok. then me. then i dragged in nat. then bryan. ee leng and wei ling commited suicide and jumped in willingly. ok. went to the PUBLIC TOILET to bath, which for some reason had AIR CON. then i think one showering cubicle was bigger than the suana at my condo. HOLY COW. we had barbeque after that, everything got burnt. so we were eating carbon most of the time. me and benedict had to leave early so we didn't participate in the water bomb fight. too bad. lucky eugene.

LAST DAE OF SCHOOL!
well...it's finally here, the last dae of term one. school had no lessons..instead we had some kind of party. the entire 305 wore our mg tee. we were most probably the most cool class there lol. we had water games, teamwork training and watever u can come up wif. even tho it couldn't beat cat high's one, it still was fun. and the mg 305 cheer rox. nanananananana.

got a new nick :bennifer lopez. all thanks to nathaniel. ahem. i mean natalie. hmm. almost went for the manga drawing workshop. nat, jieshen and me were deciding on whether to go. cos we alreadi payed 6 bucks 4 it. we flipped coins, asked for numbers, plucked flowers, asked other ppl. then by the time we decided to go, it was juz in time to see the bus leave. lame. lets c.. the games dae we tot was games dae wasn't realli games dae. so phew.

Total D-fense dae

freakin out. well not really, juz sianz. i'm still confused y the hell the fluoride ion (F-) is bigger than sodium ion (Na+). Does the number of electrons really affect tat much to change the size by a diff of 90nm? and Nat has decided to work harder for chem. farni.
Ms Pang let us watch some kind of speech thing. the speaker used hell a lot of shits and watever colourful lang u have. it was the most exciting eng lesson ever. (the rest were usually dead). got speech next tue. damn. more stress.
then played b-ball wif the bois. nat taught us neat tricks, the in the shirt routine. i lyke the scare benedict part. damn easy to get pass. dun be afraid of the ball man! i'm gonna work hard to par wif Nat. ur goin down man!

happy valentine's dae!
got lotsa presents todae...doesn't mean anything cos everyone has presents
letse, thanks to all the gals in 3-1 4 the wonderful presents. how hard is eugenia's plaster of paris heart anywae?
this is the 1st time i ever got something 4 vdae...so touched....*sob sob* hahaz
anywaes, i was supposed to meet charl to exchange school badges...(dun think sick ok, there's nothin between us, we juz lyke to collect badges.) in the end i din go...coS NAT TOOK BACK MY PHYSICS WORKSHEET AND I HAD 1 DAE TO FINISH ONE HECK ALOT OF CRAP! felt so guilty...but it turned out that she had lotsa homework too. haha..
off to more phyics...crappy graphs
oh ya and got a new skin...modified it wif some advice from royston.thnks dude..

CNY week update...
hmm...guess gotta start doing weekly updates instead of daily posts.
lets c, past week:
1.orange war in foyer
2. went to msia for cny.
3. played hl2 for 3 hrs for 4 daes. almost completed. the g-gun rox man. ravenholm was a killer.
4. watch kung fu hustle and nationial treasure, spiderman, spiderman 2, xmen 2(all again)
5. blew up my aunty's house.(wif pyro techs of cos)
6. lost 1.25 in black j at my uncle's house(thanks sis for getting back 20cents.)
i guess tat's all

the past week...
Sup...long time no blog...
well lemme run thru how's life so far.
Got great friends...Nat,Jieshen,Benedict,Royston, and a great class too...abit quiet thoughCCA's been fun, training others for badminton.
What happened in the past week:
1.Cut up a sheep's heart, made blood cordial and a septum lava lamp. cool. sadistic yah?
2.made a parallax viewer out of plastacine. it melted and stained the school track.
3.pissed off my sis...again. i dun wanna sae why. i've realised that if u put both of us together, we might potentiall yend up kkilling each other...but tat's wat siblings do rite? sorry sis.
4.played bball almost every free period. ended up having a wund one my knew, arm and wrist, scratches on my palms. Muz be retribution for pissing my sis off.
5. pissed off my sis again, juz when i apologised to her. i'm not sure anymore...she pisses me off too. i dunno. speechless. anywae, i'm expecting retribution to come soon. more scars. hahaz.
6. Met henry on the bus todae. big dude now. almost fell on the bus. retribution. hahaz
Life's been great so far...Thank God.
Juz keep a positive outlook on life, juz like my sis tot me to...

memories...
Went to turf city todaes for dinner.
wow, turf city has changed alot since the last time i went there (which was lyke a year ago during cross-country meet). tat brought back alot of memories. Still remember pinkie pissing off the cab driver...then everyone the group i went wif singing the school song in the middle of the shopping centre. lol. then there was still jia en's comic book bout ms fernandez and mr gay , adolf thian and somekind of history story or something. think it was the industrial revolution, great depression and world war 2. hilarious. well drawn jia en. oh ya, then there was still chian woon chasing gals from other schools. and the mad rush 4 the free milo. and sneaking into gaint to buy drinks. pierra was such a sucker.
watched the tiger cups finals after tt. Singapore won. well done lions. real good achievement for singapore. i believe that they won the tiger in 1998 too.
well, i guess tats all 4 todae....

cat high still rox
went back to cat high todae!!!c
at high changed alot, the library got renovated, a there was a wireless connection everywhere. den all the students were playing com games on their tablets. lol
met some old friends:laurence, edmund toh, edmund chong, jun yang, eng teck, kin chi, xuan rui, li chien, melvin, yi cong yaokiki, ivan and wu ping.talk and laugh. damn fun. i've never laughed lyke tat in 3 months lor.then went to see my teachs. all of then laughed at my tb and said gd luck. all my friends said wah kao. shits sia?
ate canteen food. shiok and damn cheap.
went to bully sec 1, then suan more ppl. only saw mrs toh and mr fernandez. mr khoo wen back liaoz. tats him lah.
next week going back wif pinkie too. hopefully cca dun start yet.

3rd dae at nus high
wah lau....orentation lyke shit lyke that...but tat is irrelevant now
so the entire school went to the mercy reliefs centre to help out wif the tsunami victims.
sorted out stuff, carry boxes etc etc. So many donated items...Singaporeans so kind yah?
got my timetable todae..wah kao so many subjects. everydae end lyke around 5.30.
i'm not sure bout other schs...but this timetable is a whole lot of crap.
i got a free break frm 8.50 to 10.00 on wed n thurs, so wat i am going to do? i dunno
then my poor theory classes, got to stop.ahhhhhh!!! if i knew, i mite have stayed at cat high, but i heard there also quite crapp also. maybe it's all sec 3 lyfe lah. dunno lah. dun care.

New Year, New School
School starts again...sianz.
Well, orentation was a whole lot of crap.
the bois there are ok, but the gals there chao zi childish (i take back wat i said bout mel teo and xy, they're worse). There were some slightly more mature, lyke fang yi(who surprisingly was a year 1 student), and tiffany.
well, i'm kinda lost actually. not that anything's wrong wif this school or anything, i juz feel lyke something's missing yah? maybe it juz takes time to settle in. but i really think i'm missing someone. should i be? i'm not sure. hope it'll be all better 2morrow.
